The last 10% is the job.

I'm a software engineer based in Dhaka, building mobile and web products — mostly with Flutter, SwiftUI and modern JavaScript. Over the last few years I've shipped iOS apps with real users in them, built a two-sided marketplace with live payment rails, and put production sites online for clients around the world.

On most of those I was the only engineer, which means I'd rather understand the whole system — data model, auth, payments, release — than own a slice of it. But the part I actually care about comes after all that works: the empty state that says something, the transition that lands, the loading spinner you never see because the thing was fast enough not to need one. That's the stretch where software stops being correct and starts being good, and it's the first thing to get cut when nobody owns it.

Before code paid the bills, Japanese did — I funded my degree translating on Fiverr, 200+ projects and a JLPT N2. That's where the remote, cross-cultural working habits come from: async by default, over-communicate, never leave a client guessing. That overlap between language, reading and software eventually became Fleuron, the reader I wanted for learning through books. When I'm not building I'm usually reading — the shelf is on this site.
